Privacy policy.
This policy explains what personal data reaches us through aiwize.co, why we use it, and the choices you have.
Last updated: 19 October 2026
Who we are
The aiWize website is run by Monika Goel, a sole proprietorship registered in India.
In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" mean that business. "You" means anyone who visits the site or contacts us.
We decide how we use your personal data. That makes us the data fiduciary under Indian law and the controller under GDPR.
- Business: Monika Goel (sole proprietorship)
- Privacy contact: hello@aiwize.co
- Grievance officer: hello@aiwize.co
Which laws this policy covers
We are based in India, and people visit from many countries. We wrote this policy with these laws in mind:
- India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDP Act) and the DPDP Rules 2025
- India's Information Technology Act 2000 and its 2011 privacy rules, which require us to publish this policy
- The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR
- The UAE Federal Personal Data Protection Law
- US privacy laws, including California's Online Privacy Protection Act (CalOPPA)
What we collect and why
The site has no accounts, no sign-in and no forms. Personal data reaches us in only 3 ways.
- Hosting logs. When you visit, Netlify's servers process your IP address, browser and device details, the page you request and the time. We use these only to serve the site and keep it secure.
- Booking details. If you click "Book a call with us", Cal.com opens a booking calendar in a pop-up. It collects what you enter: your name, email, any notes and your time zone. We use these to arrange and hold the call. Each booking creates a calendar event and a video link in the tools we use for calls.
- Emails. If you write to hello@aiwize.co, we receive your name, email address, message and any attachments. We use these to reply and, if we work together, to run our business relationship.
We don't use your data for automated decisions or profiling.
Do Not Track signals
Some browsers send a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. We don't track visitors across other sites, so the site works the same either way.
For the booking pop-up, see Cal.com's privacy policy.
Our legal reasons for using your data
The law asks us to explain why we may use your data. The answer depends on where you are.
India: under the DPDP Act, you choose what to share with us. We use booking details and emails only for the purpose you gave them. This is a "legitimate use" under the Act.
Where the DPDP Act needs your consent, we will ask for it clearly. You can withdraw it at any time.
EU and UK: under the GDPR and UK GDPR, we rely on these legal bases:
- Hosting logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and working.
- Emails: our legitimate interest in replying to people who contact us.
- Bookings: steps you ask us to take before we may agree a contract with you.
- Working with you as a client: performing our contract with you.
- Cal.com's security cookie: the legitimate interest in keeping the booking calendar secure. The cookie is strictly necessary, so it needs no consent.
UAE: we handle the data of UAE visitors in line with the Federal Personal Data Protection Law. We use it only for the purposes in this policy.
Data sent to other countries
We run the business from India, so we access your data there.
Netlify and Cal.com are US companies. Your data may be processed in the United States and other countries. These countries may have different data protection laws from yours.
We rely on the safeguards these providers offer for international transfers. Their privacy policies, linked above, explain them.
Cal.com relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension. Where those don't apply, it uses the EU's Standard Contractual Clauses and the UK Addendum.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it.
- Emails and booking details: up to 24 months after our last contact with you. We keep them longer only if a client contract needs it.
- Hosting logs: for the period Netlify sets.
If you ask, we delete your data sooner, where the law allows.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have some or all of these rights:
- See what personal data we hold about you and how we use it.
- Correct, complete or update your data.
- Ask us to delete your data.
- Withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it.
- Object to how we use your data, or ask us to limit it.
- Get a copy of your data in a common format, to move it elsewhere.
- Nominate someone to use your rights if you die or cannot act yourself. This right comes from the DPDP Act.
To use any of these rights, email hello@aiwize.co. One email is enough to withdraw your consent.
You can clear Cal.com's cookie and saved theme at any time in your browser settings.
We may ask you to confirm who you are before we act. We will reply within 30 days.
Withdrawing consent doesn't affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
Questions and complaints
If you have a concern, please email our grievance officer at hello@aiwize.co first. We will respond within 30 days.
- In India, if our answer doesn't resolve it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
- In the EU or UK, you can complain to your data protection authority.
- In the UAE, you can complain to the relevant data protection authority.
For visitors in the United States
We do not sell or share your personal information, as US state privacy laws define those terms.
We don't use it for targeted advertising. Our approach to Do Not Track signals is explained above.
Children
This site is for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at anyone under 18.
We don't knowingly collect personal data from children. If you think a child has sent us their data, email us and we'll delete it.
How we keep it secure
The site uses HTTPS everywhere and strict security headers. We store no personal data on the site itself.
We limit who can access the email and booking accounts that hold your data.
If a breach affects your data, we will tell you and the authorities where the law requires.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.
